    :

Great kit for making bracelets to remind girls of the GS law.

The product was okay except for the fact that the bracelet comes loose too easy. It doesn’t lock in enough for it not to come off easy. My daughter lost the beads on hers the second day she wore it because the clasp came loose and it fell off.It was a fun activity, you just need to change the bracelet.

The bracelet is such a fun craft for the girls to do while learning the Law. I can’t wait to start working with them on it.

did this with my brownie to reinforce the girl scout law. I glued the first and last bead in place to keep them from falling off when they open and closed the bracelet.

We bought the Law bracelets for our troop thinking it was a much better idea than the last one, but we were disappointed; the bracelets are too small for almost all of our Daisies!! They were disappointed when they couldn’t wear them.

Overall fantastic project. The girls enjoyed it and learned a lot. The only issue I’ve had is with the actual bracelet. My daughter’s bracelet doesn’t stay snapped shut, so she keeps losing beads. I’m not sure that it’s been a problem with everyone, though. I would definitely purchase this item again.

The girls had fun putting these together. Although the bracelets came apart a little easy, we put a hole in the card to put the bracelet and a safety pin thru.

bracelets unlock and all of the beads fall off. probably should have had a locking bead of some type to start and end.

Girls had problems with beads falling off when opening snap to take on and off. With that in mind, I was happy with the bracelets.

Great craft…my young troop loved these!

Personally, I would prefer the violet. There is no navy petal and I feel that would be more confusing to them than having 2 similar colors. (From Terri@makingfriends.com: we have updated it to 2 purple colors. There is no longer the dark blue bead in the kit.)

didn’t do this yet but I like the idea of the snap bracelets. It’s hard for the little ones sometimes to manage the elastic cord. I also like that u can add the beads a you earn them. Will post again after we make them to let u no what we think. =)

I bought 6 kits for my troop to make at least 70 bracelets. I spent over $60. The night before we were to make these I was going to make a sample. My daughter looked at the colors and was very upset because for the violet they had replaced it with navy. I had to go to a craft shop and spend another $10 on a bundle of beads that had the color violet. The picture on here shows violet but they do not send you what they advertise. (A note from Terri: Sorry you were disappointed. The colors were chosen to best match the daisy petals. For reference go here: http://www.bdgsc.org/shared/content/product_objects/productimage/daisy_petal_set.jpg Bead colors are limited. We found that having distinct color choices was easier for the younger girls rather than 2 purple colors that were too close together to discern the difference. Would be interested to know if others agree or disagree with the poster)

The girls (5 grade 1 Daisies) loved doing this project. I put all the beads in a pile, and they had to make sure there were enough of every colour for each girl, and they worked on sharing out the white beads too. Then they had to find out each colour for each law. It took probably longer to do it this way, but they had to work for it!! :)

I bought this for my 1st grade Daisies… they loved it and it was simple to put together. Their shared the beads and helped one another. It was a great project! The patch was fantastic too!
